I immediately wrote back with a project that had been fermenting in my brain for months, but had held off on putting together. I grabbed a date, and amazingly, everyone I had in mind was available. It's always a good omen when the scheduling gods smile down on you!

So, I'm hard at work writing for what will be a very cool new band. We hit April 3rd, details in the calendar. Catherine Sikora, soprano sax, Sam Bardfeld, violin, Sara Schoenbeck, bassoon, and yours truly on accordion and compositions. If I can pull it together, maybe I'll post some video teasers from rehearsals...check back soon!

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.artbailey.org/home/2012/1/1/see-you-at-the-apap-conference.html"><rss:title>See you at the APAP Conference</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.artbailey.org/home/2012/1/1/see-you-at-the-apap-conference.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

One of the perks of living in NYC is being close to the APAP Conference every year.
