That's the sound of 350 (+/- 10%) CDs landing on my porch, gently delivered by an unnamed postal service. Fortunately, Discmakers packs 'em right. So, here they are! Ready to be sent off into the world to make their way. I'm so proud of them.

Greetings! The artwork and design is done (created by my lovely wife Teresa), and the master packed up and sent to Discmakers, along with a big, fat check. The cds should be arriving just in time for our CD release party at The Firehouse Space on March 18th. Please stop by! There will be beer.

Now, off to write more material for my chamber group while the kids are out of the house...

New Chamber/Improv project: Rare As Radium

Hey folks- Following close on the heels of 6 days of conferences at APAP, guitarist Jon Madof contacted me to be part of a new "works in progress" series at Sixth Street Synagogue. I immediately wrote back with a project that had been fermenting in my brain for months, but had held off on putting together. I grabbed a date, and amazingly, everyone I had in mind was available. It's always a good omen when the scheduling gods smile down on you!

So, I'm hard at work writing for what will be a very cool new band. We hit April 3rd, details in the calendar. Catherine Sikora, soprano sax, Sam Bardfeld, violin, Sara Schoenbeck, bassoon, and yours truly on accordion and compositions. If I can pull it together, maybe I'll post some video teasers from rehearsals...check back soon!

One of the perks of living in NYC is being close to the APAP Conference every year. APAP is an incredible opportunity to meet arts presenters, and to sharpen your game a little. I'll be there soaking it all in every day I can, and hope to see some of you there!
